Out and about in dry Amsterdam

There has not been any rain for 32 days now here in Amsterdam! For those of you that know the Netherlands, this isn't normal. Now we have global drying after global warming. Today I soaked up the sun in the back garden and later at a new terrace called Blok 4 in IJburg, Amsterdam's newest neighbourhood. I am reading The Kite Flyer by Khaled Hosseini which is a wonderful book. A real page-turner and highly recommended.
Friday and Saturday evenings were spent in April, Soho and Exit with the usual gang. Fortunately on Saturday I drove into town so I had a very good reason not to drink alcohol. Around 3am MA, RO and HE all disappeared to the top floor of Exit and I decided I really had enough.
