In the news today: police in Amsterdam have confirmed that two Canadian soldiers have been in custody since May 26 for attacking a gay man. On his way home from Exit in the early hours of Saturday May 26 the 28 year old gay man met the two Canadians and had a friendly chat with them. The soldiers inquired after his sexual orientation. When they were told that the victim was gay, they went ballistic and starting hitting the guy causing serious injuries to his head. The last thing I expected: the danger in the streets of Amsterdam comes from Canadians.....
