It was a good Saturday. I chatted with ER in the morning; good to catch up. Went into town to buy a gift for MA who has his birthday party today, and just as I was about to leave the house SU called asking if I want to come for a coffee. JH also was there, half in tears about the end of his relationship with BE. JH's story was familiar, as he knew from the beginning that BE was here only temporarily before going back to Spain. In the evening watched Curse of the Golden Flower. I liked it, mostly for the great costumes and decor, and for the looks of second price Jai, played by Jay Chou. DZ told me later in April that Jay Chou's main job is singing rather than acting and that he is very famous in China. Unfortunately, unlike his older half-brother in the movie,Crown Prince Wan who is played by Liu Ye, he is not gay. Had a few drinks in April where we finalized the plans for the weekend to London.

I always thought Jay was very stiff.
