Singapore Air to become even more elitist

The Singapore Girl is becoming more choosy about whom she pampers. Singapore Airlines (SIA) is re-looking its exclusive Priority Passenger Service (PPS) Club and may make it more difficult for air travellers to qualify for this elite list and the privileges that come with membership.

However, travellers who ultimately retain their membership to these loyalty programmes could enjoy even better perks. A source close to the airline said: "What the airline is trying to do is make it difficult to get into the scheme, but once you get in, you're treated like a god."

I am a PPS Club member myself but will soon lose this status. I never felt as if I was "treated like a god". Singapore Airlines is no better than most other airlines, they just have this image of being the best because they are good at marketing and tell us all the time how good they are.

Aaahhhhh - soon it will be back to the back of the bus where all of us are treated like shit.

I guess Singapore Airlines is just adapting to Singapore society at large where the leadership wants the peasants to get out of their elite, uncaring faces. Hehe
