The History Boys
Yes, I know, I am a sentimental faggot, but some tears flowed when I watched The History Boys, a 2006 British movie directed by Nicholas Hytner. The movie is based on the popular play with the same name written by Alan Bennett.
The film tells the story of a small group of intelligent high school students as they prepare for getting into Oxford or Cambridge. They are guided by some teachers who are trying to teach them more than just facts, but the Headmaster of the school is more interested in the final exam results than in preparing the students for life. In the mean time, sex and love come into play, and the teacher for "General Studies" can't keep his hands to himself. Asked to define history, one of the students says: "History. It's just one bloody thing after another." Hehe.
Dominic Cooper plays Dakin who is the cutest of the group. And the rather stereotypical gay boy of the group (who of course is head over heels with Dakin) is played by Samuel Barnett.
A nice movie. Go and see it if you can.
