Drunken idiots caused 11 million euro damage during the New Year's Eve celebrations in the Netherlands. Very few people were arrested and those who were were in most cases released with a stern warning. I am not your typical "law and order" person, but I believe it is time to be a bit tougher on crime in this country, or else the lunatics will be taking over the asylum and right-wing populists such as Geert Wilders will get too many votes.

Time to get a bit tougher on crime?
Drunken idiots caused 11 million euro damage during the New Year's Eve celebrations in the Netherlands. Very few people were arrested and those who were were in most cases released with a stern warning. I am not your typical "law and order" person, but I believe it is time to be a bit tougher on crime in this country, or else the lunatics will be taking over the asylum and right-wing populists such as Geert Wilders will get too many votes.
