After the news a month ago that DAZ is expecting his second child with his lesbian friends, today I got a message from MR and RB that, after waiting more than two years, they have been selected for adopting a baby. They will travel to the US tomorrow to pick up a baby girl who was born 10 days ago. RB is American, and strangely enough it is easier for them to adopt in the US as compared to here in the Netherlands. The baby's biological parents selected MR and RB from a long list of descriptions of prospective parents and apparently didn't mind that their daughter would grow up in a gay family. I am really happy for MR and RB as they had wanted a child for so long, and now their dream will come true.

Baby boom
